For macOS 14 or newer
A full-screen meeting reminder for Mac.
Can’t Miss turns the active display into a clear meeting check-in before calendar events. It is an in-your-face alert without the visual chaos: meeting details, countdown, snooze controls, and a supported call link in one calm panel.
Choose a lead time from the meeting start up to two hours before. The alert appears on the display you are actively using—even over a full-screen workspace.
Why normal Mac notifications fail during deep work
A notification banner competes with everything already on your screen. It can appear in a corner, disappear after a few seconds, land on another display, or blend into a stream of messages. The problem is rarely that the calendar forgot; it is that the alert never earned your attention.
Can’t Miss changes the size and location of the interruption. Instead of asking you to notice a small banner, it temporarily uses the active display as a meeting reminder. You decide whether to join, snooze, dismiss, or exclude the event, and then the workspace is yours again.
What the full-screen alert includes
Meeting context
See the title, calendar, scheduled time, countdown, and relevant joining controls without opening another app.
One-click joining
Recognized Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex links open in the default browser or installed meeting app.
Practical timing
Set the alert at the start time or any lead time up to two hours before the meeting.
Control, not alarm fatigue
Select calendars, choose all timed events or meeting-like events, snooze when needed, and exclude events that should stay quiet.
Calendars that work with Can’t Miss
Can’t Miss can read calendars already available in Apple Calendar, including iCloud, Google, Exchange, and other accounts configured on the Mac. It can also connect directly to Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook with read-only permissions.
All-day events, canceled meetings, explicitly declined invitations, disabled calendars, and invalid or ended events are ignored. A meeting-like mode can narrow alerts to events containing another attendee or a recognized video-call link.
Who benefits from a full-screen meeting alert?
- Remote workers moving between focused work and frequent video calls.
- People whose calendar banners disappear behind full-screen apps or multiple displays.
- Anyone dealing with hyperfocus, context switching, or time blindness.
- Teams that use a mix of Zoom, Meet, Teams, and Webex invitations.
- Mac users who want a private, native utility instead of a new cloud calendar service.
How it differs from a basic reminder app
A general reminder app helps track tasks. Can’t Miss focuses on calendar transitions: the moment a scheduled event is close enough to require your attention. It does not create, edit, or delete calendar events. It reads selected calendars, schedules local alerts, and keeps calendar contents out of the licensing service.
