Simple terms for a small app.

These Terms of Use and End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) govern your use of the Can’t Miss website, macOS app, updates, and licensing service (“Can’t Miss”). By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using Can’t Miss, you agree to this Agreement.

License

For the free trial, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use Can’t Miss for up to 20 counted reminders. After a valid purchase, we grant the purchaser a personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Can’t Miss with unlimited reminders on one active Mac at a time. You may transfer that seat to a replacement or erased Mac through verified email recovery.

Lifetime purchase and updates

The $15 USD purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription. It includes updates we make generally available for this Can’t Miss product without a separate charge. “Lifetime” refers to the supported life of this product and does not promise a particular feature, update schedule, operating-system compatibility period, or perpetual operation of third-party services.

Permitted use

You may make a reasonable backup copy of the installer. You may not sell, sublicense, rent, share, publish, or distribute your entitlement, activation data, recovery codes, or rotating license credentials. You may not bypass the 20-reminder limit, tamper with license checks, impersonate another customer, disrupt the service, or use Can’t Miss unlawfully. Rights provided by applicable law to inspect or interoperate with software remain unaffected.

Calendars and accounts

You control which supported calendars Can’t Miss reads and are responsible for having permission to access them. Can’t Miss is reminder software, not an attendance, safety, emergency, medical, or scheduling guarantee. You remain responsible for checking event details and joining meetings on time.

License security and availability

A paid seat normally renews a short signed lease and can remain usable offline for up to seven days. Verified recovery transfers the seat. Reuse of copied rotating credentials can quarantine the entitlement and require recovery. We may suspend or revoke access for a refund, failed or reversed payment, chargeback, fraud, credential sharing, circumvention, security risk, or material breach. We may restore access when the underlying issue is resolved.

Ownership and feedback

Can’t Miss and its original code, design, and branding remain the publisher’s property and are licensed, not sold. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses. If you voluntarily provide feedback, you permit us to use it without obligation to you.

Updates, changes, and termination

We may change or discontinue features to maintain security, compatibility, or the product. You can end this Agreement by deleting Can’t Miss. We can end it for material breach. Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, payment, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue after termination.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Can’t Miss is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing here excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for missed meetings or lost data. Our aggregate liability relating to Can’t Miss will not exceed the amount you paid for the license during the 12 months before the claim. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it.

Governing terms

The laws applicable at the publisher’s principal place of business govern this Agreement, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that mandatory consumer law in your home jurisdiction continues to apply. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. This Agreement, the Terms of Sale, Refund Policy, and Privacy Notice are the entire agreement for Can’t Miss.
